Deep Vacuum, made by HexCat, was just posted to Apple downloads a few days ago. It has answered my recent need for a new batch downloading tool after BulkLoader reverted to classic mode and became crash prone after I installed Panther. Deep Vacuum is very powerful for a freeware app and is more effective than similar shareware apps I have found, like iMeMiner. There are a variety of preset options, including downloading all pictures, songs, or movies and entire sites. It works extremely fast and produces a very detailed log file in the process. Where it excels in functionality though, it lacks in visual interface and file management features. iMeMiner has a fairly good gallery mode for managing images and links, but this, to me, wasn't worth the $25 price tag. And who can argue with freeware when it gets the job done.
