So, Amy finally convinced me that we needed to get a grill this weekend. Apparently, you can't invite people over to your house on the 4th of July without a grill.
On the good advise of her Dad, we purchased the Weber Q. Much cheaper than Weber's entry level gas grills, this portable grill will do everything you need it to do on your patio as well as those frequent road trips to the great out doors. And it looks good too.
So what animal was the first victim, you might ask? Salmon. One tasty treat, taking about 20 minutes from the time we finally figured out how to light the grill.
I would have to agree that the Salmon was divine! We did a yummy teriyaki glaze and used some of the extra sauce for dipping. Now that we have a grill, we have an excuse for many more parties this summer! :)
I think it was pretty cagey of you two to trump us by getting your new grill lit and running before we even purchased a propane tank for ours. Mom
Well, we used our new grill for a post-canoe party on Saturday and it was yummy!! MMMM... i'm hungry...
I can now say that I was honored enough to have the McKenna-Look-At-My-New-Grill experience. Not only was grill super cool, but the food was even better! Good times! My compliments to the hosts & chef- Aim & Steve!
