Back To You...

Recently I've been looking into digital recording/editing/production software. The package I'm seriously considering is called Peak LE by BIAS. I downloaded a free 14-day trial of Peak LE, and Stephen and I have been playing around with it this week (staying up WAY past my bedtime *yawn*).

The software seems to work really well! Using Peak LE, I have successfully created my first MP3 of "Back To You," an original song by moi. Take a listen, and let me know what you think. With a little luck (and a lot of late nights), I hope to have a CD produced by Christmas 2003.

well, sara and mom and dada attempted to listen ot the awesome mp3 amy created but unfortunately this computer sucks. it sounded like you were swimming under water while singing a song. hmmm... we'll have to wait till christmas.

Turn my headphones up!

I don't remember the set up you guys have over there, but the mp3 may not sound as good on a mono computer speaker or over low quality speaks. Or, you just might need to turn the volume up. This song has a lot of dynamic range.

If worse comes to worse, we can put it on sara's iPod and play it out of her fancy JBL creature speakers :) They're the best!

Amy the song sounds wonderful where I am--in my office with the bookshelf Buggtussels hooked up to my mac. Sounds like you are here in the room. Great job!!

Keep it up!

It took me a while, but I was able to download and listen to your song. It sounded great on our computer system. We are looking forward to the CD!

Just listened to your song, Amy - and I am so very impressed - so sophisticated and you have such a wonderful quality to your voice - so multi-layered and interesting. Would love to hear you end on a high note, though :) Can't wait to hear more of your songs - love it love it love it!!!! You should be very proud.

Can I paypal you a couple of bucks for the song? I downloaded it and I listen to it all the time. I think it is great. Yes, I will paypal you a couple of bucks...:-)
