Amy and I have been on a quest for new bedroom furniture for several months now. We've put so many hits on Design Within Reach that they've started sending us a new catalog every week. And although I was almost willing to put a second mortgage on the house to buy the Cappellini Segno bed and end tables, we found an affordable set of furniture that completes the first step in bringing our own Fab 5 makeover to the love den.

While the showrooms we visited in San Francisco were nice, we found what we were looking for at Italmoda in Royal Oak. The showroom is tight because of the limited floor space, but there's no uppity sales bitches that won't talk to you because you're not wearing a suit made of $1,000 dollar bills. And on top of that, it's one of the best values in modern furniture you'll find. We got 30% off on a bedroom set by Bensen that we had found online. Now we just have to wait 6 weeks for our ultra-suede dreams to arrive from Bush free Canada.

Now, you can help us decide on a color to paint our bedroom. Don't limit yourself to the options shown. Go crazy! (Notes: the end tables will just have 1 shelf (composition 1), the bed frame will be a similar grey, their will be a dresser (composition 11) that matches the end tables opposite the bed, and there will be different sheets.) Sheet suggestions are also appreciated, though we may not be able to afford 600 thread count sheets like David's.

I like the blue with the gray...In color theory, isn't blue a soothing color?(via: isn't Betty a woman's name?) Orange makes you happy, but hungry, green reminds us of spring, or mold, and plum. Well. I hate plum.
